Described as 'characteristically African' (Compleat Golfer, Oct 2008, p131), this modern structure manages to capture a wonderful feel of opulent African chic without overdoing it. It's classy and comfortable without detracting from the fact that this is a golf clubhouse and, above all, in a part of the world where the locals pride themselves on a community feeling, the building fits in perfectly with the St Francis general aesthetic.
